Access control & time attendance

Business premises often have rooms of special interest where entrance is not allowed to all of the employees let alone visitors. In certain cases the front door cannot be freely open even during work hours.
These and similar situations can be solved by engineering access control system which in general comprises of:
- medium for identification e.g. card, PIN code, fingerprint
- medium reader with terminal
- electronic door lock
- control computer (as an option)
Access control system is a sensible solution even for one passage (door) since authorisations are downloaded without the use of computer. With greater number of doors the terminals and computer are connected into one single network. Control computer is used to maintain the user database and setting their authorisations. Systems with more than 500 users can greatly benefit from an ID card printer, simplifying distribution to the personnel. Time attendance is a software upgrade of the access control module.
